The Cult's fifth album was highly anticipated by both music critics and fans as a result of the band's previous worldwide successes with their 1987 album Electric and its 1989 follow up Sonic Temple. It was heavily inspired by Native American culture. The album reached #25 and achieved platinum status in the U.S., and reached #9 in Canada. Ian Astbury told the AV Club "I think it was a very important record for us to make because I think it’s probably the only record I can dig out of our canon where there was an agenda." 1 1 1 The Cult Ceremony 2 1 2 The Cult Wild Hearted Son 3 1 3 The Cult Earth Mofo 4 1 4 The Cult White 5 1 5 The Cult If 6 1 6 The Cult Full Tilt 7 1 7 The Cult Heart Of Soul 8 1 8 The Cult Bangkok Rain 9 1 9 The Cult Indian 10 1 10 The Cult Sweet Salvation 11 1 11 The Cult Wonderland
