It’s loosely a follow up to his critically acclaimed 2018 album Origami Harvest. The sprawling album album addresses what it is like to be a Black man in America. It features both a string quartet (Mivos Quartet) and a jazz quartet that includes Sam Harris (piano), Chiquita Magic (synthesizers) and Justin Brown (drums), accompanied by the poet/rapper/vocalist Kokayi.
